Barack Obama says fight against Islamic State will take time

Tuesday, 29 September 2015, 19:18 Last update: about 9 hours ago

President Barack Obama today pledged all possible tools — military, intelligence and economic — to defeat the Islamic State group, but acknowledged the extremist group has taken root in Syria and Iraq, is resilient and continues to expand.

Obama spoke as chairman of a UN gathering of world leaders working to expand the battle against terrorism, a day after he and the leaders of Russia, China and Iran addressed the General Assembly on its 70th anniversary. The fight against terrorism, particularly in Syria, has seized the attention of top officials, but there has been no overall agreement on how to end the conflict there.
"I have repeatedly said that our approach will take time. This is not an easy task," Obama cautioned, while adding that he was "ultimately optimistic" the brutal organization would be defeated because it has nothing to offer but suffering and death.
"This is not a conventional battle. This is a long-term campaign — not only against this particular network, but against its ideology," he said.
The meeting also heard from the Iraqi leader, who sought more help against IS in his country, and heard from Obama that three more countries were added to the coalition fighting the group.
Also, Obama opened talks with Cuban President Raul Castro, the second time the leaders of the once-estranged nations have met this year. Guyana's president, David Granger, used his UN address to accuse Venezuela of being a bully as the two countries brought their long-running border dispute to the world body. And South Sudan's rivals addressed a high-level meeting and blamed each other for violations of a fragile cease-fire.
On the central issue, leaders were dealing with an IS that attracting fighters from around the world, prompting fears they will return to their home countries to launch attacks.
The fight has been complicated by a Russian military buildup in Syria in support of President Bashar Assad. Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested Monday that Russia could launch airstrikes against the militants in Syria, if sanctioned by the United Nations or requested by Damascus.
Obama and Putin are at odds over Russian involvement because Washington has said Assad must be removed from power. Obama and Putin laid out competing visions for Syria during their speeches to the opening meeting of the annual UN General Assembly on Monday.
Obama reiterated Tuesday that defeating IS requires "a new (Syrian) leader and an inclusive government that united the Syrian people in the fight against terrorist groups."
Reflecting the divide, an official with the Russian delegation said Moscow would take part in the Obama-led event only by a lower-level official, UN deputy ambassador Evgeny Zagaynov. Russia on Wednesday will chair its own meeting on countering extremism as this month's UN Security Council president.
One by one, speakers at Tuesday's meeting spoke of the need to confront the extremism which Jordan's King Abdullah II described as the "greatest collective threat of our time."
United Nations Secretary General Ban ki-Moon said the UN's most recent data shows a 70 percent increase in foreign terrorist fighters from over 100 countries to regions in conflict. He said security-focused counterterrorism measures are crucial but stressed the need to go beyond, including making a special effort to reach young people.
"Social media is central. We need to offer a counter-weight to the siren songs that promise adventure, but deliver horror — and that promise meaning, but create more misery," he said.
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu used the opportunity to highlight his government's fight against rebels of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, saying "there is no difference between the Islamic State group and the PKK."
"One terrorist fighting the other will not legitimize it," he said.

Kurdish fighters in northern Syrian have been, however, one of the United States most effective allies in the battle against IS.
Iraq's Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi listed what he said were his government's successes fighting IS and recent anti-corruption drive. He appealed for the world's help in "drying up the sources of terrorism," including the flow of foreign fighters to Syria and Iraq, IS oil smuggling and money transfer networks.
More than 60 countries, including Arab nations, are working together and launching military airstrikes in an attempt to wipe out IS, which has taken control of large regions in Iraq and Syria.
Obama, in his speech, said Nigeria, Tunisia and Malaysia were the newest members of the US-led international coalition. "We are harnessing all of our tools -- military, intelligence, economic, development and the strength of our communities."
Also set for Tuesday were high-level meetings on the humanitarian consequences of the war in Syria and the wider refugee and migrant crisis that is the largest since the upheaval of World War II. Refugees have swept into Europe in waves and already are jammed into camps in Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon.

Review: Sugary Drinks Can Seriously Damage Heart Health

(HealthDay News) — Soft drinks and other sugar-sweetened beverages can seriously damage cardiovascular health, a new review finds. The report was published in the October 6 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

The added sugar in sodas, fruit drinks, sweet teas, and energy drinks affects the body in ways that increase risk of myocardial infarction, cardiovascular disease, and stroke, review author Vasanti Malik, ScD, a nutrition research scientist at Harvard's T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, told HealthDay.
Consuming one or two servings a day of sugar-sweetened beverages has been linked to a 35% greater risk of myocardial infarction or fatal cardiovascular disease, a 16% increased risk of stroke, and as much as a 26% increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes, the report concluded.
"Reducing the consumption of these drinks, it's not going to solve the heart disease epidemic, but it's one step that can have a measurable impact," Malik said. "It's not the only thing that needs to be done, but it's a very important thing."

Facebook accused of spying on Belgian citizens like the NSA

Data regulator’s opening volley in privacy lawsuit claims Facebook is conducting NSA-like snooping on citizens declaring that Belgium shouldn’t be intimidated

Facebook acted like the US’s National Security Agency, spying without authority on European users, lawyers representing the Belgian data protection authority said on Monday.
In opening arguments in a closely watched case being brought against the social network company, Frederic Debussere, representing the Belgian privacy commission (BPC), referred to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden’s revelations about surreptitious mass surveillance by the spy agency.
“When it became known that the NSA was spying on people all around the world, everybody was upset. This actor [Facebook] is doing the very same thing, albeit in a different way,” he said.
The BPC brought a lawsuit against Facebook after accusing it of “trampling” over Belgian and European privacy law. In a report and an opinion the BPC detailed Facebook’s alleged breaches, including the tracking of non-users and logged-out Facebook users for advertising purposes.
The BPC is threatening Facebook with fine of €250,000 ($280,213) a day for failing to respond to its demands.

Cookie use in dispute

Facebook has repeatedly denied the claims, saying that the data and conclusions in the BPC’s Facebook privacy report are false.
A Facebook spokesperson said: “We will show the court how this technology protects people from spam, malware, and other attacks, that our practices are consistent with EU law and with those of the most popular Belgian websites.”
Facebook has also repeatedly stated that its European operations and practices are audited and governed by the Irish data protection agency, for the company’s European headquarters are situated in Dublin, Ireland.
Paul Lefebvre, representing Facebook, said: “How could Facebook be subject to Belgian law if the management of data gathering is being done by Facebook Ireland and its 900 employees in that country?”

‘Don’t be intimidated’

The case is being watched intently by the rest of Europe where data protection regulators across the region, including the Netherlands, have also begun to question Facebook’s privacy practices.
“Don’t be intimidated by Facebook,” said Debussere. “They will argue our demands cannot be implemented in Belgium alone. Our demands can be perfectly implemented just in this country.”
Facebook said: “We’ve repeatedly offered to help resolve the Belgian data protection authority’s concerns, but it instead took Facebook to court claiming we do things we don’t do. The Belgian data protection authority conceded its original case and is now trying to stop Facebook from using security technology because they misunderstand it.”
President of the Belgian commission Willem Debeuckelaere said in May that Facebook’s treating of users’ private lives “without respect needed tackling” and that it was a “make or break time”.
“We remain open to discussing these issues directly with Belgian Data Protection Authority as a better option than doing this through unnecessary litigation,” said a Facebook spokesperson.

The Watchman's Duty

In the very time i which we live, the Lord has called His people and has given them a message to bear. He has called them to expose the wickedness of the man of sin who has made the Sunday law a distinctive power, who has thought to change times and laws, and to oppress the people of God who stand firmly to honor Him by keeping the only true Sabbath, the Sabbath of creation, as holy unto the Lord.

The perils of the last days are upon us, and in our work we are to warn the people of the danger they are in. Let not the solemn scenes which prophecy has revealed be left untouched. If our people were half awake, if they realized the nearness of the events portrayed in the Revelation, a reformation would be wrought in our
churches, and many more would believe the message. We have no time to lose; God calls upon us to watch for souls as they that must give an account (TM 117-118).

We must take every justifiable means of bringing the light before the people. Let the press be utilized, and let every advertising agency be employed that will call attention to the work. This should not be regarded as nonessential. On every street corner you may see placards and notices calling attention to various things
that are going on, some of them of the most objectionable character; and shall those who have the light of life be satisfied with feeble efforts to call the attention of the masses to the truth?(Evangelism, page 130).

In a special sense Seventh-day Adventists have been set in the world as watchmen and light bearers. To them has been entrusted the last warning for a perishing world. On them is shining wonderful light from the word of God. They have been given a work of the most solemn import—the proclamation of the first, second, and third angels’ messages. There is no other work of so great importance. They are to allow nothing else to absorb their attention.

The most solemn truths ever entrusted to mortals have been given us to proclaim to the world. The proclamation of these truths is to be our work. The world is to be warned, and God’s people are to be true to the trust committed to them (9T19).

Adventists Gear Up for Pope’s U.S. Visit

Church members aim to reach out to Philadelphia with a positive message of faith and family.

news editor, Adventist Review, with reporting by Columbia Union Visitor

Seventh-day Adventists are planning a variety of family-focused activities to coincide with Pope Francis’ high-profile visit to the United States next month.
The pope will arrive on Sept. 22 for a six-day trip that will include talks with U.S. President Barack Obama at the White House, speeches at U.S. Congress and the United Nations, and meetings connected with a Roman Catholic Church-organized faith and family congress in Philadelphia.

Adventist pastors from Philadelphia and surrounding areas are planning a major outreach initiative to take advantage of the interest and publicity surrounding faith and family that is being stoked by the Catholic Church’s World Meeting of Families.

“As we consider the prospect of the pope’s upcoming visit, the Pennsylvania Conference is eager to reach out to the residents of Philadelphia with a positive message of faith and family,” conference president Ray Hartwell said.

Scores of church members will prayerfully walk through Philadelphia on Sept. 12, going house to house and leaving door hangers (see sample here) that offer Bible studies and information on growing stronger families. The Pennsylvania Conference also has created a website, faithforfamily.org, and is planning family-related events at local churches.

Area pastors and churches will follow up the outreach initiative by offering small groups and seminars on family topics. The campaign will culminate with Spanish- and English-language evangelistic meetings on Nov. 13 to 15 in Philadelphia and Reading, Pennsylvania.

Hartwell said the effort was in line with the advice of Adventist Church cofounder Ellen G. White, who wrote in her book Christ’s Object Lessons: People “are to be turned from their false worship, not by hearing denunciation of their idols, but by beholding something better. God’s goodness is to be made known” (p. 299).

In a parallel with the Pennsylvania Conference’s effort, the Adventist Church’s Allegheny East Conference, which comprises historically African-American congregations in Philadelphia and the eastern mid-Atlantic region, will distribute 30,000 copies of a special issue of Message magazine focused on the family.

Church members will hand out the magazines on Sept. 26 and 27, the two days of the pope’s visit to Philadelphia.

“This event is a great opportunity for us to be a witness,” said Henry J. Fordham, president of the Allegheny East Conference. “In a world where the definition of family has been modified, our members share what we believe as Christians.”

In addition to articles on strengthening the family, the magazine will include information on programs at local Adventist churches and contact information to request Bible studies, receive more information about a service, or simply ask for prayer.

Character and Aim of the Papacy

If we desire to understand the determined cruelty of Satan, manifested for hundreds of years, not among those who never heard of God, but in the very heart and throughout the extent of Christendom, we have only to look at the history of Romanism. Through this mammoth system of deception the prince of evil achieves his purpose of bringing dishonor to God and wretchedness to man. And as we see how he succeeds in disguising himself, and accomplishing his work through the leaders of the church, we may better understand why he has so great antipathy to the Bible. If that book is read, the mercy and love of God will be revealed; it will be seen that he lays upon men none of these heavy burdens. All that he asks is a broken and contrite heart, a humble, obedient spirit.
Christ gives no example in his life for men and women to shut themselves in monasteries in order to become fitted for Heaven. He has never taught that love and sympathy must be repressed. The Saviour's heart overflowed with love. The nearer man approaches to moral perfection, the keener are his sensibilities, the more acute is his perception of sin, and the deeper his sympathy for the afflicted. The pope claims to be the vicar of Christ; but how does his character bear comparison with that of our Saviour? Was Christ ever known to consign men to the prison or the rack because they did not pay him homage as the King of Heaven? Was his voice heard condemning to death those who did not accept him? When he was slighted by the people of a Samaritan village, the apostle John was filled with indignation, and inquired, “Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?” Jesus looked with pity upon his disciple, and rebuked his harsh spirit, saying, “The Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.” [Luke 9:54, 56.] How different from the spirit manifested by Christ is that of his professed vicar.
The Romish Church now presents a fair front to the world, covering with apologies her record of horrible cruelties. She has clothed herself in Christ-like garments; but she is unchanged. Every principle of popery that existed in past ages exists today. The doctrines devised in the darkest ages are still held. Let none deceive themselves. The popery that Protestants are now so ready to honor is the same that ruled the world in the days of the Reformation, when men of God stood up, at the peril of their lives, to expose her iniquity. She possesses the same pride and arrogant assumption that lorded it over kings and princes, and claimed the prerogatives of God. Her spirit is no less cruel and despotic now than when she crushed out human liberty, and slew the saints of the Most High.
Popery is just what prophecy declared that she would be, the apostasy of the latter times. [2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4.] It is a part of her policy to assume the character which will best accomplish her purpose; but beneath the variable appearance of the chameleon, she conceals the invariable venom of the serpent. “We are not bound to keep faith and promises to heretics,” She declares. Shall this power, whose record for a thousand years is written in the blood of the saints, be now acknowledged as a part of the church of Christ?
It is not without reason that the claim has been put forth in Protestant countries, that Catholicism differs less widely from Protestantism than in former times. There has been a change; but the change is not in the papacy. Catholicism indeed resembles much of the Protestantism that now exists, because Protestantism has so greatly degenerated since the days of the reformers.
As the Protestant churches have been seeking the favor of the world, false charity has blinded their eyes. They do not see but that it is right to believe good of all evil; and as the inevitable result, they will finally believe evil of all good. Instead of standing in defense of the faith once delivered to the saints, they are now, as it were, apologizing to Rome for their uncharitable opinion of her, begging pardon for their bigotry.
A large class, even of those who look upon Romanism with no favor, apprehend little danger from her power and influence. Many urge that the intellectual and moral darkness prevailing during the Middle Ages favored the spread of her dogmas, superstitions, and oppression, and that the greater intelligence of modern times, the general diffusion of knowledge, and the increasing liberality in matters of religion, forbid a revival of intolerance and tyranny. The very thought that such a state of things will exist in this enlightened age is ridiculed. It is true that great light, intellectual, moral, and religious, is shining upon this generation. In the open pages of God's holy Word, light from Heaven has been shed upon the world. But it should be remembered that the greater the light bestowed, the greater the darkness of those who pervert or reject it.
A prayerful study of the Bible would show Protestants the real character of the papacy, and would cause them to abhor and to shun it; but many are so wise in their own conceit that they feel no need of humbly seeking God that they may be led into the truth. Although priding themselves on their enlightenment, they are ignorant both of the Scriptures and of the power of God. They must have some means of quieting their consciences; and they seek that which is least spiritual and humiliating. What they desire is a method of forgetting God which shall pass as a method of remembering him. The papacy is well adapted to meet the wants of all these. It is prepared for two classes of mankind, embracing nearly the whole world,—those who would be saved by their merits, and those who would be saved in their sins. Here is the secret of its power.
A day of great intellectual darkness has been shown to be favorable to the success of popery. It will yet be demonstrated that a day of great intellectual light is equally favorable for its success. In past ages, when men were without God's Word, and without the knowledge of the truth, their eyes were blindfolded, and thousands were ensnared, not seeing the net spread for their feet. In this generation there are many whose eyes become dazzled by the glare of human speculations, “science falsely so-called;” they discern not the net, and walk into it as readily as if blindfolded. God designed that man's intellectual powers should be held as a gift from his Maker, and should be employed in the service of truth and righteousness; but when pride and ambition are cherished, and men exalt their own theories above the Word of God, then intelligence can accomplish greater harm than ignorance. Thus the false science of the nineteenth century, which undermines faith in the Bible, will prove as successful in preparing the way for the acceptance of the papacy, with its pleasing forms, as did the withholding of knowledge in opening the way for its aggrandizement in the Dark Ages.
In the movements now in progress in the United States to secure for the institutions and usages of the church the support of the State, Protestants are following in the steps of papists. [SEE APPENDIX, NOTE 11.] Nay, more, they are opening the door for popery to regain in Protestant America the supremacy which she has lost in the Old World. And that which gives greater significance to this movement is the fact that the principal object contemplated is the enforcement of Sunday observance,—a custom which originated with Rome, and which she claims as the sign of her authority. It is the spirit of the papacy,—the spirit of conformity to worldly customs, the veneration for human traditions above the commandments of God,—that is permeating the Protestant churches, and leading them on to do the same work of Sunday exaltation which the papacy has done before them.
If the reader would understand the agencies to be employed in the soon-coming contest, he has but to trace the record of the means which Rome employed for the same object in ages past. If he would know how papists and Protestants united will deal with those who reject their dogmas, let him see the spirit which Rome manifested toward the Sabbath and its defenders.
Royal edicts, general councils, and church ordinances sustained by secular power, were the steps by which the pagan festival attained its position of honor in the Christian world. The first public measure enforcing Sunday observance was the law enacted by Constantine. [A. D. 321.] This edict required townspeople to rest on “the venerable day of the sun,” but permitted countrymen to continue their agricultural pursuits. Though virtually a heathen statute, it was enforced by the emperor after his nominal acceptance of Christianity.
The royal mandate not proving a sufficient substitute for divine authority, Eusebius, a bishop who sought the favor of princes, and who was the special friend and flatterer of Constantine, advanced the claim that Christ had transferred the Sabbath to Sunday. Not a single testimony of the Scriptures was produced in proof of the new doctrine. Eusebius himself unwittingly acknowledges its falsity, and points to the real authors of the change. “All things,” he says, “whatsoever that it was duty to do on the Sabbath, these we have transferred to the Lord's day.” But the Sunday argument, groundless as it was, served to embolden men in trampling upon the Sabbath of the Lord. All who desired to be honored by the world accepted the popular festival.
As the papacy became firmly established, the work of Sunday exaltation was continued. For a time the people engaged in agricultural labor when not attending church, and the seventh day was still regarded as the Sabbath. But steadily a change was effected. Those in holy office were forbidden to pass judgment in any civil controversy on the Sunday. Soon after, all persons, of whatever rank, were commanded to refrain from common labor, on pain of a fine for freemen, and stripes in the case of servants. Later it was decreed, that rich men should be punished with the loss of half of their estates; and finally, that if still obstinate they should be made slaves. The lower classes were to suffer perpetual banishment.
Miracles also were called into requisition. Among other wonders it was reported that as a husbandman who was about to plow his field on Sunday, cleaned his plow with an iron, the iron stuck fast in his hand, and for two years he carried it about with him, “to his exceeding great pain and shame.”
Later, the pope gave directions that the parish priest should admonish the violators of Sunday, and wish them to go to church and say their prayers, lest they bring some great calamity on themselves and neighbors. An ecclesiastical council brought forward the argument, since so widely employed, even by Protestants, that because persons had been struck by lightning while laboring on Sunday, it must be the Sabbath. “It is apparent,” said the prelates, “how high the displeasure of God was upon their neglect of this day.” An appeal was then made that priests and ministers, kings and princes, and all faithful people, “use their utmost endeavors and care that the day be restored to its honor, and, for the credit of Christianity, more devoutly observed for time to come.”
The decrees of councils proving insufficient, the secular authorities were besought to issue an edict that would strike terror to the hearts of the people, and force them to refrain from labor on the Sunday. At a synod held in Rome, all previous decisions were reaffirmed with greater force and solemnity. They were also incorporated into the ecclesiastical law, and enforced by the civil authorities throughout nearly all Christendom.
Still the absence of scriptural authority for Sunday-keeping occasioned no little embarrassment. The people questioned the right of their teachers to set aside the positive declaration of Jehovah, “The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God,” in order to honor the day of the sun. To supply the lack of Bible testimony, other expedients were necessary. A zealous advocate of Sunday, who about the close of the twelfth century visited the churches of England, was resisted by faithful witnesses for the truth; and so fruitless were his efforts that he departed from the country for a season, and cast about him for some means to enforce his teachings. When he returned, the lack was supplied, and in his after-labors he met with greater success. He brought with him a roll purporting to be from God himself, which contained the needed command for Sunday observance, with awful threats to terrify the disobedient. This precious document—as base a counterfeit as the institution it supported— was said to have fallen from Heaven, and to have been found in Jerusalem, upon the altar of St. Simeon, in Golgotha. But in fact, the pontifical palace at Rome was the source whence it proceeded. Frauds and forgeries to advance the power and prosperity of the church have in all ages been esteemed lawful by the papal hierarchy.
The roll forbade labor from the ninth hour, three o'clock, on Saturday afternoon, till sunrise on Monday; and its authority was declared to be confirmed by many miracles. It was reported that persons laboring beyond the appointed hour were stricken with paralysis. A miller who attempted to grind his corn, saw, instead of flour, a torrent of blood come forth, and the mill-wheel stood still, notwithstanding the strong rush of the water. A woman who placed dough in the oven, found it raw when taken out, though the oven was very hot. Another who had dough prepared for baking at the ninth hour, but determined to set it aside till Monday, found, the next day, that it had been made into loaves and baked by divine power. A man who baked bread after the ninth hour on Saturday, found, when he broke it the next morning, that blood started therefrom. By such absurd and superstitious fabrications did the advocates of Sunday endeavor to establish its sacredness.
In Scotland, as in England, a greater regard for Sunday was secured by uniting with it a portion of the ancient Sabbath. But the time required to be kept holy varied. An edict from the king of Scotland declared that Saturday from twelve at noon ought to be accounted holy, and that no man, from that time till Monday morning, should engage in worldly business.
But notwithstanding all the efforts to establish Sunday sacredness, papists themselves publicly confessed the divine authority of the Sabbath, and the human origin of the institution by which it had been supplanted. In the sixteenth century a papal council plainly declared: “Let all Christians remember that the seventh day was consecrated by God, and hath been received and observed, not only by the Jews, but by all others who pretend to worship God; though we Christians have changed their Sabbath into the Lord's day.” Those who were tampering with the divine law were not ignorant of the character of their work. They were deliberately setting themselves above God.

A striking illustration of Rome's policy toward those who disagree with her was given in the long and bloody persecution of the Waldenses, some of whom were observers of the Sabbath. Others suffered in a similar manner for their fidelity to the fourth commandment. The history of the churches of Ethiopia and Abyssinia is especially significant. Amid the gloom of the Dark Ages, the Christians of Central Africa were lost sight of and forgotten by the world, and for many centuries they enjoyed freedom in the exercise of their faith. But at last Rome learned of their existence, and the emperor of Abyssinia was soon beguiled into an acknowledgment of the pope as the vicar of Christ. Other concessions followed. An edict was issued forbidding the observance of the Sabbath under the severest penalties. But papal tyranny soon became a yoke so galling that the Abyssinians determined to break it from their necks. After a terrible struggle, the Romanists were banished from their dominions, and the ancient faith was restored. The churches rejoiced in their freedom, and they never forgot the lesson they had learned concerning the deception, the fanaticism, and the despotic power of Rome. Within their solitary realm they were content to remain, unknown to the rest of Christendom.
The churches of Africa held the Sabbath as it was held by the papal church before her complete apostasy. While they kept the seventh day in obedience to the commandment of God, they abstained from labor on the Sunday in conformity to the custom of the church. Upon obtaining supreme power, Rome had trampled upon the Sabbath of God to exalt her own; but the churches of Africa, hidden for nearly a thousand years, did not share in this apostasy. When brought under the sway of Rome, they were forced to set aside the true and exalt the false Sabbath; but no sooner had they regained their independence than they returned to obedience to the fourth commandment. [SEE APPENDIX, NOTE 12.]
These records of the past clearly reveal the enmity of Rome toward the true Sabbath and its defenders, and the means which she employs to honor the institution of her creating. The Word of God teaches that these scenes are to be repeated as papists and Protestants shall unite for the exaltation of the Sunday.
The prophecy of Revelation 13 declares that the power represented by the beast with lamb-like horns shall cause “the earth and them which dwell therein” to worship the papacy—there symbolized by the beast “like unto a leopard.” The beast with two horns is also to say “to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast;” and, furthermore, it is to command all, “both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,” to receive “the mark of the beast.” [Revelation 13:11-16.] It has been shown that the United States is the power represented by the beast with lamb-like horns, and that this prophecy will be fulfilled when the United States shall enforce Sunday observance, which Rome claims as the special acknowledgment of her supremacy. But in this homage to papacy the United States will not be alone. The influence of Rome in the countries that once acknowledged her dominion, is still far from being destroyed. And prophecy foretells a restoration of her power. “I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed; and all the world wondered after the beast.” [Revelation 13:3.] The infliction of the deadly wound points to the abolition of the papacy in 1798. After this, says the prophet, “His deadly wound was healed; and all the world wondered after the beast.” Paul states plainly that the man of sin will continue until the second advent. [2 Thessalonians 2:8.] To the very close of time he will carry forward his work of deception. And the Revelator declares, also referring to the papacy, “All that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life.” [Revelation 13:8.] In both the Old and the New World, papacy will receive homage in the honor paid to the Sunday institution, that rests solely upon the authority of the Romish Church.
For about forty years, students of prophecy in the United States have presented this testimony to the world. In the events now taking place is seen a rapid advance toward the fulfillment of the prediction. With Protestant teachers there is the same claim of divine authority for Sunday-keeping, and the same lack of scriptural evidence, as with the papist leaders who fabricated miracles to supply the place of a command from God. The assertion that God's judgments are visited upon men for their violation of the Sunday-sabbath, will be repeated; already it is beginning to be urged. And a movement to enforce Sunday observance is fast gaining ground.
Marvelous in her shrewdness and cunning is the Romish Church. She can read what is to be. She bides her time, seeing that the Protestant churches are paying her homage in their acceptance of the false Sabbath, and that they are preparing to enforce it by the very means which she herself employed in by-gone days. Those who reject the light of truth will yet seek the aid of this self-styled infallible power to exalt an institution that originated with her. How readily she will come to the help of Protestants in this work, it is not difficult to conjecture. Who understands better than the papal leaders how to deal with those who are disobedient to the church?
The Roman Church, with all its ramifications throughout the world, forms one vast organization, under the control, and designed to serve the interests, of the papal see. Its millions of communicants, in every country on the globe, are instructed to hold themselves as bound in allegiance to the pope. Whatever their nationality or their government, they are to regard the authority of the church as above all other. Though they may take the oath pledging their loyalty to the State, yet back of this lies the vow of obedience to Rome, absolving them from every pledge inimical to her interests.
Protestants little know what they are doing when they propose to accept the aid of Rome in the work of Sunday exaltation. While they are bent upon the accomplishment of their purpose, Rome is aiming to re-establish her power, to recover her lost supremacy. Let history testify of her artful and persistent efforts to insinuate herself into the affairs of nations; and having gained a foothold, to further her own aims, even at the ruin of princes and people. Romanism openly puts forth the claim that the pope “can pronounce sentences and judgments in contradiction to the right of nations, to the law of God and man.” [THE “DECRETALIA."]

And let it be remembered, it is the boast of Rome that she never changes. The principles of Gregory VII. and Innocent III. are still the principles of the Romish Church. And had she but the power, she would put them in practice with as much vigor now as in past centuries. Let the principle once be established in the United States, that the church may employ or control the power of the State; that religious observances may be enforced by secular laws; in short, that the authority of church and State is to dominate the conscience, and the triumph of Rome in this country is assured.
God's Word has given warning of the impending danger; let this be unheeded, and the Protestant world will learn what the purposes of Rome really are, only when it is too late to escape the snare. She is silently growing into power. Her doctrines are exerting their influence in legislative halls, in the churches, and in the hearts of men. She is piling up her lofty and massive structures, in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions will be repeated. Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike. All that she desires is vantage-ground, and this is already being given her. We shall soon see and shall feel what the purpose of the Roman element is. Whoever shall believe and obey the Word of God will thereby incur reproach and persecution.

Reversing An Act Of God With A Modern Tower of Babel

Gen 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
Gen 11:2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
Gen 11:3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.
Gen 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Gen 11:5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
Gen 11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Gen 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
Gen 11:8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Gen 11:9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
An Unfinished Tower
The flag of the European Union (EU)
Above is an illustration of the one of the buildings of the European Parliament in Strasbourg France, the Louise Weiss Building, which includes a tower that appears to be unfinished. Below on the left is a painting done in 1563 of the Tower of Babel, by Pieter Brueghel the Elder, a Flemish Northern Renaissance Painter. Below on the right is a poster produced by the European Union symbolically depicting their mission. It combines the 12 stars of the EU flag with the rebuilding of the tower of Babel with the motto Europe: Many Tongues One Voice. Note also that the stars are shown as inverted pentagrams, an occult symbol for Satan.
The tower of the Louise Weiss Building (shown below), although it looks unfinished, was designed with the expressed purpose of resembling the tower of Babel as depicted in Brueghel's painting!

The European Union is clearly saying symbolically that their goal is a defiant reversal of an act of God. The prophecy of Daniel chapter 2 tells us that this end-time attempt at unification will ultimately fail as an unfinished work, that it will soon be replaced by the Kingdom of God.
Dan 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
The EU expanded from 15 members to 25 in 2004, making a new constitution necessary for practical governing.  Before it could come into effect, the EU constitution had to be ratified by all 25 EU member states, either through a referendum or by a parliamentary vote. Nine countries already had done so: Austria, Hungary, Italy, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain, however, rejection by even a single remaining country would prevent it from taking effect in November of 2006.  The "no" vote that derailed the EU constitution happened on May 29th, 2005 in France. The Netherlands also voted "no" on June 1st, 2005 and the United Kingdom announced on June 6th, 2005 that it would not vote on the constitution. For all practical purposes, the EU constitution and its attempt at unity is dead.
As of January 1, 2007, the EU expanded to 27 nations with the addition of Bulgaria and Romania.
The European Union dropped plans for a constitution and decided to amend two existing treaties instead. Signed by the heads of state in Lisbon on December 13th, 2007, it still had be ratified by all 27 member nations to go into effect. Ireland, the only country to put the treaty to a public vote, defeated the Lisbon treaty proposition on June 12th, 2008.
In September of 2009, Czech senators filed a complaint against the treaty in the constitutional courts that delayed Czech signing of the treaty.
Ireland voted again on October 2nd, 2009, approving the Lisbon treaty, and Poland's President signed the Treaty on October 10th, leaving only the Czech republic's president to approve it, who has said he will not sign the treaty unless his country is granted an opt-out from the EU's Charter of Fundamental Rights.
On November 3rd, 2009, Czech president Vaclav Klaus signed the Lisbon Treaty, after the complaint to the constitutional courts was rejected.  The Treaty became law on December 1st.
Belgian Prime Minister Herman Van Rompuy, chosen unanimously by the 27 European heads of government over dinner on November 19th to become EU President, is a devout Roman Catholic who was educated at the Jesuit Sint-Jan Berchmans College in central Brussels, and has degrees in philosophy and applied economics from the Catholic University of Leuven. This brings to mind:
Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

Walking with God

Pope to the White House -- a scene once unthinkable

Washington (AFP) - This week's Oval Office meeting between Barack Obama and Pope Francis will be the 29th encounter between a Catholic pontiff and a US president. But for decades such a meeting was improbable.
Obama, a Protestant, has been effusive in his praise for the pontiff, but many previous US presidents have been more cautious. Mistrust had long colored relations between the United States and the Vatican.
American Catholics -- largely of Irish, Italian, Polish and Hispanic extraction -- have been accused of having more loyalty to Rome than their homeland.

- Long-time fears -

"The United States had a long history of anti-Catholicism since the first settlers were mostly Protestants who brought with them their disdain for Catholicism," said Thomas Reese, a senior analyst for National Catholic Reporter.

"They also feared that if Catholics ever got power, they would impose their religion on the country. The Know Nothings, the KKK, and anti-immigrant movements were all anti-Catholic."

When Democratic governor Al Smith ran in the 1928 presidential election, he came under withering attack.

Roman Catholics make up 20 percent of the population in the United States (AFP Photo/Brian Kersey)

"Some critics said that if he won, he would build a tunnel from the White House to the Vatican," said Reese.

The first meeting between a pope and a president did not come until 1919, until after World War I — when Woodrow Wilson held an audience with Pope Benedict XV.

The next meeting would not be for 40 years, between Dwight Eisenhower and Pope John XXIII.

"Post WWII, American Catholics began to become more integrated into American culture and society,” said Chester Gillis, a professor of theology at Georgetown University.

Many Catholics gained access to university, thanks to the “GI Bill” which helped troops get a university education and enter the middle class.

Mixed-religion marriages became more and more common.

Pope Benedict XVI became only the second pontiff to visit the White House in 2008 where thousands of …

In 1961, John F. Kennedy became the first Roman Catholic president, and the only one to date.
But his path to the White House was not without difficulty.

- Changing times -

"Many thought if you elect a Catholic, then the pope will have an influence on political policy in America,” said Gillis.

"There was a fear the president's first loyalty would be to his church and Kennedy assured people he would not do that. And he did not do that."

JFK strongly and repeatedly stressed that he was president and not a papal puppet.

"I believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute; where no Catholic prelate would tell the President -- should he be Catholic -- how to act,” he said in one 1960 speech when still a presidential candidate.

"I am not the Catholic candidate for President. I am the Democratic Party's candidate for President who happens also to be a Catholic,” he said.

"I do not speak for my church on public matters; and the church does not speak for me."

After Kennedy there was a burst of presidential-papal pow-wows. Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford all meet their Vatican counterparts.

The Second Vatican Council, which began in 1961, made it clearer that any future Catholic presidents may not face the same doubts Kennedy did.

The church "no longer required Catholics if they came into power to make Catholicism the state religion. The church became a supporter of religious freedom and freedom of conscience,” said Reese.
But in a country where 20 percent of the population is Catholic, it still was not until Jimmy Carter’s presidency in 1979 that a pope — John Paul II — would come to the White House for the first time.

Many of these meetings were little more than symbolic gestures, with little political substance.

But the relationship between Ronald Reagan and John Paul II marked a shift; both were vehemently anti-Communist.

Obama has already met Pope Francis once and it has been a meeting of minds.

Both have urged action to tackle climate change and Obama’s efforts to restore ties with Cuba has gelled with the current pope’s efforts to see Havana open up politically.

That has irked Obama’s Republican foes, who oppose the perceived papal blessing for Obama’s political agenda.

In a sign of just how deep the anger is, Paul Gosar a Republican Catholic from Arizona, has stated that he will boycott the Pope’s historic speech to Congress.

“When the Pope chooses to act and talk like a leftist politician, then he can expect to be treated like one,” he said.

He accused Francis of adopting "the false science being propagated by the Left."

"If the Pope wants to devote his life to fighting climate change then he can do so in his personal time. But to promote questionable science as Catholic dogma is ridiculous.”

Gosar and others may take some comforting in the fact that on issues like abortion and same sex marriage there is still a vast distance between Obama and the head of the Catholic church.

Pope Francis' upcoming visit to Cuba has prompted Cuban American faithfuls like Frances Gomez and Martha Lidia Serra Mohr to travel to the island for the first time in decades, with hopes that the pope will bring change to Cuba.

A Proposed Letter of Apology to Pope Francis from the GC President

by Ervin Taylor, September 13, 2015:    Readers of the Adventist Today web site and anyone living in Philadelphia who listens to or reads local media in or around that city may be aware of the recent mass mailing of a book, The Great Controversy, to 700,000 individuals living in that city or surrounding area. The mailing was intended to be coincident with a visit to Philadelphia, the “City of Brotherly Love,” by the current Supreme Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis.

As readers of Adventist Today will know, The Great Controversy is a 19th-century work based on an extensive editing of materials originally produced by and under the name of a co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist denomination, Ellen Gould Harmon-White (1837-1915). Like a wide cross section of many other evangelical and later fundamentalist Protestant authors belonging to a wide range of conservative Protestant churches in 19th- and early 20th-century America, White was very critical of the theology and history of the Roman Catholic Church in Europe. Obviously, the heritage she reflected went back centuries, based on the long-standing, intense hostility that existed between Protestants and Catholics beginning at the time of the Reformation and continuing down into the late 19th century in many countries in Europe before being transplanted across the Atlantic to the United States.

A regrettable part of that heritage was the continued affirmation of conspiracy scenarios concerning alleged attempts of Roman Catholics to establish some sort of political advantage, usually by some nefarious means in America. Anti-Catholic hostility was exacerbated during the 19th century because of the competition for employment with native-born Anglo-Saxon Americans due to the large influx of immigrants from Catholic countries in Europe, especially Ireland. It even had a 19th-century political expression in America with the formation of the anti-Catholic, anti-immigrant, anti-Jewish “Know-Nothing” political movement.

We can be encouraged that the organization which was responsible for the mailing of the Great Controversy volume was not the official Seventh-day Adventist Church. The organization was Remnant Publications, based in Michigan. However, the message that this mailing was clearly intended to communicate is an anti-Catholic message and the source of that message emanates from a part of the Adventist tradition. In light of this action on the part of members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, it is here proposed that the President of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church send the following letter or some version of it to the Pope asking for his understanding and forgiveness.

Here is a draft of the text of such a letter that would be written on the stationery of the General
Conference of SDAs:

His Holiness, Pope Francis
Apostolic Palace
00120 Vatican City

Your Holiness:

It is recently come to my attention that certain misguided members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the United States have distributed a book, written by the co-founder of this Christian denomination, to many individuals living in the city of Philadelphia, prior to your upcoming visit to that city.

That book is entitled The Great Controversy. That volume was written in the 19th century at a time in the history of the United Sites when the relationship between Protestant and Catholic Christians was much less than ideal. Unfortunately, that book reflected various very regrettable negative aspects of that relationship. A predecessor of mine has noted that the anti-Catholic views that this book endorses have been “relegated to the ash heap of history” by current Adventist leaders and lay persons.

I currently hold the position of president of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and in that capacity I am writing to you to extend the apologies from a leader of one group of Christians to another, asking for your understanding and forgiveness for the unfortunate actions of a small number of members of the Christian faith tradition which I represent.

At a time when all Christians of good will should be seeking to come together to solve the serious problems facing our world, the actions of a few should not be allowed to confuse and disrupt that cooperation. It is in the spirit of that concern that this letter is being sent to you.
Please accept this apology in the name of all members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church who wish you and the church you represent the blessings of God.
Very Respectfully,

Ted N.C. Wilson

The Marketing Of Moringa: Is This The New Kale?

Powder, tea bags, energy bars — these are some of the ways that moringa is attempting to make inroads into the American diet.
Powder, tea bags, energy bars — these are some of the ways that moringa is attempting to make inroads into the American diet.
Mahafreen H. Mistry/NPR

The moringa tree is a scrappy plant that grows like a weed in dry, tropical climates and produces bitter leaves that taste like horseradish. Moringa is also contending for a spot as the next hot "superfood," with an emerging focus on its potential to make life better for people in developing countries. Moringa supplements and bars are also becoming more popular here in the U.S.

Although most parts of the plant are edible, moringa's power is in its leaves and seed pods, which are high in digestible protein, calcium, iron, vitamin C and antioxidants and have a nutritional profile that rivals milk and eggs, says Jed Fahey, a nutritional biochemist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health who has been studying the plant for 20 years.

With a long history of traditional use, moringa has also been touted for some 300 medicinal benefits, of which Fahey suspects a handful will survive scientific scrutiny. He is putting together a small trial to test its anti-diabetic properties.

"One doesn't need to do very much to prove that if you are hungry or nutritionally replete, then eating moringa as a source of vegetable protein in a varied diet is a good thing to do," says Fahey, who will speak at an international symposium on moringa in November in Manila, Philippines. "We're beyond the need to prove that."

What's needed now, experts say, is better motivation for people to grow and eat it. In many places, moringa carries the stigma of a "poor person's crop" and like Brussels sprouts, people tend to eat it only if they have to, says Lisa Curtis, founder of a company called Kuli Kuli Foods, which sells moringa products in the United States.

Truth Compromised is Still a Lie - The Jesuit world of dialectic

We hear a lot about Christians “engaging in dialogue” with other groups and religions: Muslims, sodomites, Catholics, etc. But should a Bible-believer do this?  What is this “dialogue” everybody wants us to “engage” in?
When we take a closer look, what they want is not really dialogue —it’s dialectic, a very old Jesuit principle.
Dialectic involves three aspects: thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. These sound complex, but “thesis” and “antithesis” are simply names for two opposites. “Synthesis” is a word for the compromise people reach in order to come to some form of agreement.
Here’s the problem: what if the thesis happens to be the truth? If one side is the truth, then the other side —antithesis— has to be a lie. But what is the synthesis? Any compromise between truth and a lie is also a lie. So, actually, if you talk about which side wins, the lie wins out, because a lie is always a lie. It never becomes the truth. Truth compromised is still a lie.
But before the eyes of God, everyone loses in this kind of dialogue, or dialectic. What we need is truth, not compromise. We need to persuade the other side to the truth of our side. Then everybody wins and there’s no compromise.
Look at the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They’re standing up there by themselves, because everybody else is fallen down on their faces in front of this giant idol. So the king calls them out by name and says in effect, “Didn’t you hear my decree? I don’t care who you are; when you hear the music, you fall down just like everybody else!”
The three could have said, “You know, we could just bow our heads down. That’ll be good enough.” But then they would be just as bad as everybody else. They might as well be on their faces in front of the idol. Tilting your head is still compromise. It’s still not what God commanded in His word. Instead, they said, “If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not… we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up” (Daniel 3:17-18).
Thesis stayed thesis, and antithesis stayed antithesis. There was no synthesis. In fact, the king in his fury commanded them to heat the fiery furnace seven times hotter, so hot that his mightiest men, who threw them in, died of their burns.
But God protected those three. And even if He hadn’t, they just would’ve gone to meet Him. But this time He came to meet them! And when they came out they didn’t even have the smell of fire —or the stink of idolatry on them. They stayed with their thesis. They had no guilt of compromise. For them there was no synthesis.
It didn’t matter whether they were afraid or not, because that was not the point. It didn't matter. What mattered was their refusal to compromise. And God completely honored it.
This is why dialogue will never work when you have the truth. Dialogue only works with two people who don’t have the truth. One lie synthesized into another lie comes up with a compromise lie. What’s the difference?
We must stand firm and persuade others of the truth of God’s words and doctrines, perfectly preserved in the King James Bible. We must never compromise His truth with the Devil’s —or man’s— lies
Examples of the Hegelian Dialectic passed and future.
Remember when looking at the dialectic  Christianity for the Roman Church(government) is just a mask; hiding her true identity and nature of the Occult.  Also remember Rome is a nation and has a seat in the United Nations. What is a (Hegelian) Dialectic?
Remember prior to 1776 the colonies were governed by Protestant England and Catholics could not be in government and the Mass could not be said in public.  Always keep in mind that England is the only Country that has ever legislated Catholicism illegal.  In America it became legal(mass) what was illegal(mass) in England with freedom of religion.  England is the only country that has been truly Protestant!!!

Below are examples of the Hegelian Dialectic
thesis------------Mask of Christianity
anti-thesis-----Occultism
synthesis--------Ecumenical Movement

thesis----------  Protestantism
anti-thesis---- Catholicism
synthesis----- Universalism

Below is a Jesuit world Dialectic

Thesis: Arm the Muslims and make them hate the Western World and nation-state of Israel.

Anti-thesis: Arm the "Christians"(apostate) and "Jews"
(apostate) and make them hate the Muslim World.

Once the hatred is fomented between these two sides, World War III can be started. When all the fighting is over and the people of the world are exhausted, the Pope of Rome can step in as the good guy and suggest that everybody in the world come together in the name of peace while setting aside our religious differences (ecumenism). The Pope will relocate his throne to Jerusalem.

Synthesis: The Pope of Rome will become the leader of the world and we'll end up with a one-world ecumenical/universal religion and a total one-world government and economic system and now we have the "New World Order"

A Quote from Jesuit John Carroll out of  "The Ark and the Dove" "The Beginning of Civil and Religious Liberties in America" by J. Moss Ives.  It is out of the 6th chapter of the book.  Click here to read.
"The harmony now subsisting amongst all Christians(prior to 1776 they weren't consider Christians) in this country, so blessed with civil and religious liberty,(prior to 1776 Catholics didn't have civil and religious liberty) which if we have the wisdom and temper to preserve, America may come to exhibit a proof to the world that general and equal toleration, by giving a free circulation to fair argument, is the most effectual method to bring all denominations(thesis:Protestants) of Christians(anti-thesis: Understand Catholics claim to be Christian) to a unity(synthesis: ecumenism) of faith."

The above quote from John Carroll is a text book example of the hegelian dialectic.  John Carroll had 26 years of Jesuit education.  Jesuits are masters at the dialectic and the above is an example of his expertise in using the dialectic.  The American  revolution produce a Universal government and with the freedom of religion it was the the birth of the ecumenism in America.  When we fast forward to 2015 and the visit of a Jesuit pope on September 24, 2015 we see the Hegelian dialectic being played out right before our eyes.  The word Catholic means Universal.  The pope is going to speak to a Universal government or he is going to speak to a Catholic government.

We have 28 Jesuit Universities and 216 Catholic universities.  Six out of the Nine chief Justices are Catholic.  Now we see who benefited from the eradicating of the penal laws and giving a free hand to Rome.  Always remember Rome is a state and has a seat in the U.N.

If you have any doubts about Rome's influence in the American revolution, please read  chapter V supporting the revolution Click here.  Understand it is written by a Catholic Historian.  The only history the world hears is the sugar coated history where there is NEVER any mention of the real founding FATHERS.  It is real possible dear reader that you might never have heard of Charles Carroll(John, Daniel and Charles) before you came to this web site.  Charles Carroll was the wealthiest man in the colonies.  Follow the money, Charles Carroll help finance the American revolution.   There is a good reason that Charles Carroll is left out of the education of Americans?  Why?  Because the students and citizens might just put two and two together.
Understand they used the dialectic over and over.
examples below
With the signing of the Declaration of Independents in 1776 America became a universal government, no longer a Protestant government by using the Hegelian Dialectic, combining 99 percent (Protestants-thesis)  of the population with 1 per cent(Catholics-anti-thesis) we acquired a Universal government-synthesis.  In America it became legal(Mass), what was illegal(Mass) in England and the penal laws become a thing of the past, never to be talked about!!  Had this massive penal code been enforced, it could have eradicated English Catholicism and the American revolution turn this all around!!

The average citizen in a America does not know the definition of the word Protestant or who the Jesuits serve and do not know Jesuit history.  That means that a great percentage of students who attend Jesuit Universities(28 Universities) do not understand the motive or agenda of the Jesuits.  Jesuit universities have built a mask around there agenda using education. Students thinking they are getting a education, when in reality they are getting programed to continue the agenda(Mystery Babylon idolatry) of the Jesuits.  The founding of American by the Jesuits gave Rome her freewill to practice a superstitious and idolatrous  and dissolved the protestant movement in the colonies and England.  Understand I used the word dissolve the protestant movement, the population was still 99% protestants and 1% Catholic.  American revolution just took the word protest out of the word protestant and gave us a universal government.

We always hear they have re-written history.  No, they have just left out the history prior to 1776. Here is the key to the mystery: JESUIT HISTORY FROM 1540 TO 1773 IS NOT TAUGHT IN ANY UNIVERSITY IN THE WORLD.  If the Americans new their English heritage they might put two and two together and understand what we lost with the American revolution, verses what American got from the revolution.  Ignorance is bliss!!

Ninety nine per cent of Americans do not know any history prior to 1776.  If we did not have the Jesuit American revolution(using Freemasonry has a cover) we would not have 28 Jesuits Universities, 50 Jesuit High Schools, 216 Catholic universities and 6 out of the nine chief Justices are Catholic and NOT one Protestant.   It was a brilliant masterful event in history for the Jesuits!!  Why? Because the penal laws prior to 1776 would not of allowed them to take complete control through their programing universities.  Understand the Protestants had nothing to gain and everything to lose with the American revolution.  Now lets ask the question!! Who benefited from the American revolution??  When we fast forward to 2015, history shows us Romes complete control of Education and the government.  Understand I am not condemning or trying to discredit Jesuits and Rome. Lets give credit where credit is due.  The American revolution was a masterful and brilliant accomplishment of the Jesuits.

Simply put, a "dialectic" is an argument ("thesis mask of Christianity") which demands an opposing argument "anti-thesis Occultism"). Through the process of the two conflicting sides, a solution ("synthesis Ecumenical movement ") is reached which represents a compromise of the two seemingly insurmountable opinions. This solution then serves as a new argument ("thesis") and the entire process is repeated.  Remember you cannot use truth for a thesis.  It only works with a half truth and a half truth is still a lie.

Each time the dialectical process is repeated, the compromise serves to shift society away from its original thesis true Christianity -- that is the motive.
Thesis Mask of Christianity + anti-thesis Occultism  synthesis = Ecumenical movement
Thesis Protestantism Goverment + anti-thesis Catholicism Government  synthesis = Universal Government
Always remember Catholicism is a government and has a seat in the United Nations.  And all the kings got their divine right to rule from the pope, ALL except protestant England.

Founding of the American government by combining  Protestantism with Catholicism we got a Universal government.
Thesis Protestantism + anti-thesis + Catholicism  synthesis=Universalism
Definition of Catholic is Universal
Can you name another religion that is a Nation and a government besides Rome?
No it is not the Jews who run the world!!!  All roads lead to Rome
